Cuvara ("we," "our," or "us") is operated by Cuvara Inc., a Delaware corporation. This Privacy
Policy explains what information we collect when you use the Cuvara mobile application, how we
use it, and your rights regarding that information.
By using Cuvara you agree to the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, please
discontinue use of the app.
I N F O R M A T I O N W E C O L L E C T
We collect only the information necessary to provide personalized wine recommendations.
Account information — your email address, used to authenticate you via a one-time sign-in
code.
Profile information — your first name, wine experience level (novice, enthusiast, or
connoisseur), and taste preferences you provide during onboarding.
Wine diary entries — wines you choose to log, including name, rating, occasion, and
personal notes.
Chat messages — conversations you have with the AI sommelier, used to generate
recommendations.
Photos — only if you choose to photograph a wine menu. Images are sent to our AI service for
analysis and are not stored permanently.
Usage data — basic session information such as how often you use the app, to improve the
service.
We do not collect your location, contacts, browsing history, or any data unrelated to wine.

T H I R D - P A R T Y S E R V I C E S
Cuvara uses the following third-party services to operate:
Supabase — cloud database and authentication. Your profile, diary, and account data are
stored on Supabase infrastructure. See supabase.com/privacy.
Anthropic Claude API — powers the AI sommelier. Your messages and taste profile are sent
to Anthropic to generate responses. See anthropic.com/privacy.
We do not share your data with any other third parties.
D A T A R E T E N T I O N
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any
time from the Profile screen inside the app. Upon deletion, your profile, diary entries, and
conversation history are permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
C H I L D R E N ' S P R I V A C Y
Cuvara is intended for users aged 21 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information
from anyone under the age of 21. If we become aware that a user is under 21, we will delete their
account immediately.
S E C U R I T Y
We use industry-standard security practices, including encrypted connections (TLS) and secure
authentication. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we take
reasonable steps to protect your information.

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Request correction of inaccurate data.
Request deletion of your data (available directly in the app via "Reset profile").
Withdraw consent at any time by deleting your account.
California residents may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act

C H A N G E S T O T H I S P O L I C Y
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective
date above. Continued use of Cuvara after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
